Hometown daughter, Caitlin Jensen, 28, had four arteries in her neck dissected during a neck adjustment at a local Chiropractic visit on June 16th, 2022. She suffered multiple strokes, which led to cardiac arrest, a traumatic brain injury, and has left her partially paralyzed and unable to speak. She is currently undergoing intensive rehab therapy at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta.
A generous local couple purchased a home on December 30th, 2022 in Richmond Hill near her support network, emergency medical care, and convenient to the hospitals. Its layout is perfect, needing relatively minor renovations to give her an ADA accessible home in which she can prosper, and start her next chapter of recovery. We need your help with this little Richmond Hill Extreme Home Makeover project to be ready to welcome her home mid-February 2023.
To make the home perfect for Caitlin, and to create a space that will bring joy to this young woman, we have a makeover to accomplish in 39 days! Check out the other tabs to see how you can help. There are a few unassigned projects at the house still to be scheduled, a meal train you can join, and an Amazon wish list for items to get them settled in excellence. Thank you for being a part of our Richmond Hill Cares community!
