A generous local couple has purchased this lovely Mulberry house for the Jensen family on December 30th, 2022. It will accommodate Caitlin, her mother Darlene, her brother Caleb, and their pets. (Caitlin's father passed away when she was three from cancer while he was active duty at Fort Gordon.) We are so excited that we will be able to keep the Jensens in Richmond Hill, close to their support network, emergency services, and nature. This house needs very few modifications to make it work for Caitlin and her equipment. However, we have some big ideas of how to make it not just a home but a sanctuary for her recovery and well-being, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Please visit her GoFundMe page at the link at the top of the page to make a donation for the home renovations. We are building a deck and ramps, widening a few doorways, overhauling the bathroom to be a gorgeous ADA space with a roll in shower, and updating the kitchen. Some flooring is being replaced, new blinds, and the whole house is getting painted fresh. We have shifts for painting and landscape helpers. And, there are so many little things we would like to do that would make it truly spectacular. Please donate to the renovation fund... add #RichmondHillCares to your donation comment to earmark these funds for this project! (Funds are also being saved for her medical care and purchased the specialized van.) We also have an Amazon wish list for the little special extras!
